Otto Mønsteds Fond
The objective of the Otto Mønsteds Foundation is to contribute to the development of Danish trade and industry. According to the original deed of the foundation from 1934, the distributions from the Foundation are intended for: i) supporting the education of talented young businessmen and engineering students or graduates with no or limited private means; ii) educating teachers at business schools, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and possibly the technical colleges in Denmark; iii) promoting and developing plans and undertakings within trade and industry which the Board of the foundation deems to have the potential for promoting Denmark's commercial and corporate sectors or otherwise being honorable for Denmark.

Danish Data Science Academy
The Novo Nordisk Foundation and the VILLUM FOUNDATION award a total combined grant of DKK 184.3 million to the Danish Data Science Academy, which will support and initiate new initiatives for Danish research institutions and tech companies. Primarily within training of experts and interdisciplinary collaboration, two crucial areas for Denmark to realize its potential within data science. The Danish Data Science Academy aims to unite and strengthen the many national participants and stakeholders within the academic environment, health tech and business community.

Pioneer Centre for AI
The establishment of the Pioneer Centre (P1) is an ambitious national undertaking initiated by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science and developed in close cooperation and co-financing between the Ministry, the universities, and 5 private foundations: the Danish National Research Foundation, the Carlsberg Foundation, the Lundbeck Foundation, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and the Villum Foundation. P1 vision is to support world-class artificial intelligence research focusing on societal challenges, people and design while putting Denmark at the international forefront. In addition to the disciplines within artificial intelligence, such as machine learning and deep learning, P1 researchers also work on the ethical aspects of AI and how to design technologies built on artificial intelligence in such a way that they are accepted and understood by those who need them.
