The Mærsk Tower

The conference will be held in the Mærsk Tower, in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, in the heart of the city. The tower was completed in 2017, and it belongs to the University of Copenhagen. The tower is built with a focus on sustainable solutions, with rainwater recycling and energy efficient laboratories.

The facility features 6 conference rooms for parallel sessions and one large auditorium with capacity for 500+ people. A spacious hall will host lunches, coffee breaks, and poster exhibits.

Social dinner at Festsalen

The conference dinner will take place in the beautiful and historical ceremonial hall "Festsalen". Festsalen (literally meaning "the party hall") is placed in the main building of the University of Copenhagen, in the central, old part of Copenhagen. The walls of Festsalen are richly decorated with ornaments and paintings, dating from the latter half of the 1800’s. The paintings depict the inauguration of the university in 1479, and other historical events. Festsalen is used for the annual commemoration of the foundation of the university, as well as other university-related activities. Festsalen has wheelchair access.
